Environment Hidden between the holly oaks, Can Sueño lies at an altitude of 650 metres; in the region Bijauca, to be precise at Tossalet de Porcs, on the plateau of the wild boars. It seems to be the edge of the world. Apparently, because the picturesque village of Tárbena is only 4 kilometres away and the modern city of Alicante is an 85 kilometres drive from Can Sueño. Tárbena lies in the province of Alicante, one of the most mountainous provinces in Spain and in the neighbourhood of the 218 kilometres sandy beaches of the Costa Blanca.          Can Sueño on the left             Can Sueño is situated in the middle of a Mediterranean agricultural area with mainly almond, olive and cherry orchards which twice a year guarantee a pink and white blossom splendour. The region is known for its infinite hiking tracks along centuries-old Moorish roads, along donkey paths and along hunting trails with splendid panoramas of the Mediterranean Sea and of inland Spain.   Here you will find the caves; here, the air is filled with the scent of rosemary and thyme.       view from the pool                Here at Can Sueño, you have a grandstand view of the eagles in their nest on top of a ruin of a Moorish observation post. Here is the place where birds of all feathers feel at home: larks, jackdaws and birds of paradise (bee-eaters). In Tárbena there is a choice of small restaurants that honour the local cuisine. The little shops in the village provide for your daily purchases. When you feel like going to the beach or want to sniff up some culture or have a night out, you simply leave the edge of the world by driving 20 kilometres downhill. There you will find “the other world”; the world of dazzling tourism in  Denia , Altea , Villa Joyosa , Benidorm , Calpe  etc. After such a visit it is always good to return to the quietness and tranquillity of nature and to the cool of the evening in the mountains. is het altijd goed om terug te keren naar de verstilling en de rust van de natuur en naar de avondkoelte in de bergen.
